Another Sweet Girl!!!

I am so very pleased to announce we are having another girl!!! Yippeeeeee!!! We are crazy excited and that's what we were both hoping for. Berkeley needs a sister. Sisters are the best. I know they'll be 4 years apart, but I hope eventually they'll be the very best of friends. Berkeley was insistent from the beginning that she was going to have a sister. I have heard that kids usually are right about those kinds of things because they are so in tune with everything. We haven't stopped smiling since we found out! Her name is going to be Finley. I have a middle name picked out, but Tom thinks it's weird, so I'm not sure if he will let me use it. Once again, I must ask everyone to pray for him:) Oh my goodness I feel like I'm going to come out of my skin. I am thrilled! Nice work Thomas - you're a champ! We can't wait to meet you Baby Fin!

Berkeley is 4!

My sweet 4 year old

We had Berkeley's 4th birthday party on Sunday. Unfortunately, there is a lot of nasty stuff going around, so quite a few people couldn't make it, but she still had a good time. We did a "cute-as-a-button" theme and it was great fun doing all of the detaily stuff that I love to do.
I can't believe she is 4 already. In fact, I got out 3 candles before the party and then realized that something wasn't quite right and that I needed one more. She has been such a joy to love and care for. A couple of weeks ago she got sick so I slept with her in the "sick bed" downstairs. She would wake up off and on all night long and I'd hold the bucket for her and after she was all done she'd hug me or give me a sweet little kiss on the tip of my nose. She tells me at least 15 times a day that she "Loves me SOOOOOO much" or "You're the best mommy ever." I had a plaque made for her room that says "Love You To The Moon And Back" and she often says that to me and to the grandmas, which of course just melts their hearts! She has such a sweet spirit and a joyous laugh. I love my little girl so much and feel so blessed that God gave her to us to love and cuddle!
The last 2 pictures absolutely crack me up. Berkeley is a very dainty/delicate eater and she ate all of the frosting off of her cupcake using a candle. It took her about 20 minutes to clean all the frosting off and then she was done. I don't even think I had to wipe her face or hands. Oliver, on the other hand, shoved the whole thing in his face and made a complete mess of himself! They are such opposites, but so much fun in their own special ways. I can't believe I am halfway done with this pregnancy and get to find out on Thursday what we're having! I know we'll be blessed beyond belief with this next little peanut.
We love you beyond words beautiful Berkeley. Happy 4th Birthday sweet girl.

Halloween

Berkeley was a ferocious lion and played the part beautifully!

Oliver was a rooster and enjoyed cock-a-doodle-dooing all night long!

Cohen was the cutest little spider I've ever seen!

Ella and Berk matched! Berk was NOT going to smile until she got some of that yummy cotton candy.
I just about died when I saw the size of that...it's almost bigger than she is :)
