Berkeley is 4!
My sweet 4 year old
We had Berkeley's 4th birthday party on Sunday. Unfortunately, there is a lot of nasty stuff going around, so quite a few people couldn't make it, but she still had a good time. We did a "cute-as-a-button" theme and it was great fun doing all of the detaily stuff that I love to do. I can't believe she is 4 already. In fact, I got out 3 candles before the party and then realized that something wasn't quite right and that I needed one more. She has been such a joy to love and care for. A couple of weeks ago she got sick so I slept with her in the "sick bed" downstairs. She would wake up off and on all night long and I'd hold the bucket for her and after she was all done she'd hug me or give me a sweet little kiss on the tip of my nose. She tells me at least 15 times a day that she "Loves me SOOOOOO much" or "You're the best mommy ever." I had a plaque made for her room that says "Love You To The Moon And Back" and she often says that to me and to the grandmas, which of course just melts their hearts! She has such a sweet spirit and a joyous laugh. I love my little girl so much and feel so blessed that God gave her to us to love and cuddle!
The last 2 pictures absolutely crack me up. Berkeley is a very dainty/delicate eater and she ate all of the frosting off of her cupcake using a candle. It took her about 20 minutes to clean all the frosting off and then she was done. I don't even think I had to wipe her face or hands. Oliver, on the other hand, shoved the whole thing in his face and made a complete mess of himself! They are such opposites, but so much fun in their own special ways. I can't believe I am halfway done with this pregnancy and get to find out on Thursday what we're having! I know we'll be blessed beyond belief with this next little peanut.
We love you beyond words beautiful Berkeley. Happy 4th Birthday sweet girl.

Happy Birthday, Berkeley! What a fun theme! Where in the world did you find that giant button? I can't believe you are already half way done cooking your next little blessing! Can't wait to hear what you're having!
Four already? Happy Birthday sweet Berkeley!! Soon she will be having sleepover birthday parties, remember yours in fourth grade!! We discovered we had the matching thigh freckle!! hehe love to you all especially the birthday gal!!
This made me a little teary eyed realizing how quickly four years have gone by. I still remember the day she was born. Once again, loved your theme and loved all the details you put into their parties!

I stumbled upon your blod by mistake. i was searching for the movie with Molly ringwald, I could only remember the line about "i'm pregnant, can you pass the turnips" so when I googled that your blog came up.
You wee girl Berkeley is beautiful and I happen to think finley is a beautiful name. Wish I had thought of it when my daughter was born almost 7 years ago....
Anyway thats why you have a snooper, it wasn't intentional but a happy accident (for me anyway lol)
