Pumpkin Patch

Kisses for all
And hugs too!
A fun hay ride!

Berkeley LOVES her Aunt Laura

We went to the pumpkin patch last Sunday. We decided, spur of the moment, that we had better take advantage of the sunshine before we ended up having to tromp through the mud if we went later in the month. It was such a beautiful day and just perfect for a trip to the patch! The kids had a blast on the hay ride and Berkeley fell in love with each and every pumpkin/gourd we passed. As you can see in the pictures, she insisted on kissing and hugging almost every one we walked by. Every one of them was "soooooo cute" and she loved the "little tiny baby ones." She is getting to be so much fun. This morning she took a drink of water and started to choke a little bit. I asked her if she was ok and said that it must have gone down the wrong pipe. The looked up at me with a sweet little smile and exclaimed "Mommy, I love pipes!" Last night she fed Thomas a grape and said "Daddy, make sure you chew it real good." What a ham! Anyway, it was a fun day and I'm looking forward to all of the festivities that are just around the corner.

Celine!!!!!!!!!!

I got to see Celine last night!!! She was absolutely amazing! This is my second time seeing her in concert. The first time I saw her was in Vegas. We made a special trip down there to see her because we figured it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we didn't think we'd ever get another chance. I messed it up though, because I had a cold and took too much cold medicine right before the concert and ended up getting really sick and had to sit out in the hallway because I was dry heaving. I didn't want my nose to be running during the whole thing so I took my dosage too soon, without leaving enough time for my system to go through the previous dose. I was so mad at myself for ruining my once in a lifetime chance to see my girl.

My sister ended up surprising me with tickets about 9 months ago and you can imagine the squeal that escaped from my lips! I couldn't believe I was going to get to see her live again! Laura was supposed to go with me, but she forgot to put it on her caldendar and ended up planning a trip to Hawaii during it. So, while Laura was sunning herself in LAME Hawaii (it sucks to be her, huh?), Thomas stepped in and went with me. We had such a great time. She is the most talented singer on the planet. No other singer even comes close as far as I'm concerned. She has the voice of an angel and everyone was completely mesmerized by her. If anyone ever has the chance to see her in concert I would highly recommend it. You'll never experience a better show or a more phenomenal singer! Thank you Laura for such a thoughful and awesome gift - you're the best!
