Finley - 5 weeks

Finley is 5 weeks old already. I feel so bad...I have been horrible about taking pictures, so on a night when Berkeley & Oliver were gone, instead of relaxing for 2 seconds I forced my husband to help me take some of her just like we did with the other 2 when they were new babies. They aren't that great, but we did it and that's what counts :) You'll have to excuse the pea pod costume. I know I took pics of Berk & Oliver in it and it's probably been way overdone, but I couldn't resist. If I could shove my husband in it and take his picture I would!

Finley has been an unbelievably sweet baby and a precious addition to our family. The kids adore her and every morning Oliver asks if he can wake baby Finley up. When she finally does wake up, they both smother her in kisses and Oliver says "I missed you baby Finley." So sweet. When he holds her he says "Baby Finley's cute, mom" and after about 30 seconds of holding her he says "I'm done with baby Finley." Ahh, the attention span of a 2 year old! Berkeley wants to hold and burp her all the time and she wants so badly to be the mommy. She tells me often that someday she is going to have 5 Finleys. I tell her she will be a VERY busy girl! She has been an enormous help to me though and a great big sister.

She is just too sweet! I laughed out loud about shoving Tom into the pea costume. I'd like to see that actually :) I love how much the kids love her.....nothing like siblings!

Oh, that 2nd picture down is SO beautiful! Nice job! I'm going to tuck away that thought of Tom in the pea costume and pull it out every time I need a little chuckle. Maybe he could wear it and hold up and advertisement on the side of the road? :)
And regarding the "5 Finleys"...I'm glad you told me. I will prepare Timmy for that (I'm sure he'll go along), and you and I will have a great time shopping and playing with our adorable grandbabies :)
