Christmas 2010
I know this is almost 3 months late, but we finally moved into our new house and I finally have access to the internet. Better late than never, right? We spent Christmas Eve at Chris & Laura's. Easton was only 2-1/2 weeks old so we had 5 kids ages 5 and under. You can imagine how chaotic and fun it was! The holidays really are so much fun with little ones. We had a delicious prime rib dinner and of course both babies needed to eat as soon as the meal was served, but we mothers are accustomed to eating cold food so that didn't bother us one bit! Berkeley asked for a Barbie so Aunt Laura found one with a sassy bikini that we named "Lake Sawyer Barbie". Somehow Oliver has become fascinated with Spider Man even though he has never seen a show or a movie. When he opened his Spider man action figure he very excitedly exclaimed "SPIDER MAN!!! OH, I LOVE SPIDER MAN!!!" I'm not sure how he even knows who Spider Man is, but boy, does he like him! He has already asked if he can be Spider Man for Halloween next year.
Christmas day was spent with Tom's family at Verl & Sherri's house. Since we were living down stairs at the time, we went upstairs for a delicious breakfast and then the festivities started shortly thereafter. Blake & Oliver both got little Knight costumes and loved dressing up in those. Berkeley got pj's and a new blanket and a horse that she loves. Finley got a new blanket and a soft giraffe. She loves anything soft and cuddly so she squealed and squeezed it the entire time she held it. Sitting there with everyone again made it hard to believe another year had gone by. And, now, in just 9 short months we'll be doing it all again :)
