This is way too much fun!
Sleeping on daddy after an exhausting day of walking!Oliver took his very first couple of steps on the Monday before his birthday, but he decided to really make his walking debut on his birthday by setting a new record...five to seven steps in a row! He was so proud of himself as you can tell by the pictures. He smiled from ear to ear and couldn't stop laughing. Most of the time he was laughing so hard that he'd make himself fall! He is getting really confident now and is able to walk from the living room into the bathroom without falling. It is so fun to watch him learn and develop. Berkeley even gets excited for him. She gets a big smile on her face and says, "Look mom, Bean's walking!" She was telling Grandma all about his walking abilities on the phone the other day too. She is a very proud big sister.

Kim, when he was in my tummy I called him my little "Bean sprout" and then when he was born Berk called him "Bean" because it was easier for her to say than Oliver. Then it switched to "Oliver Bean." So that is the story behind his nickname!
